The donations Tsohang Youth Project receives are exempt from donations tax and qualify the donor for deductions from taxable income in accordance with the Income Tax Act 58 of 1962.
A contribution of more than R200 per annum allows the donor to receive a Section 18A tax certificate enabling the donor to claim a deduction from personal or corporate taxable income. Unless pre-arranged, Tax certificates will be issued in March/April each year. Donor deductibility applies to cash donations, bequests and donations of goods or services.
Upon submission of your annual tax return and the receipt we will give you, you can get a maximum tax deduction of 10% of your annual taxable income or R1000 (the grater of the 2).
